More about the job:The Management Group (TMG) and The Employer Group, acting as co-employers, are seeking a Northeast Lead. TMG is the contracted IRIS Consultant Agency (ICA) for the IRIS program. IRIS is a Wisconsin long-term support program where eligible individuals self-direct their publicly funded, community based long-term care services. The Northeast Lead will be responsible for providing leadership, management and supervision to the ICA Northeast staff, and for developing successful strategic partnerships in Northeast Wisconsin to ensure IRIS participant outcomes, program service excellence standards and program integrity are being met. The Northeast Lead provides professional and quality-focused team and resource management for Area staff, and supervises day-to-day activities, responsibilities, and initiatives in alignment with TMGs strategic goals and direction. The Northeast Lead is also responsible for leading the development and maintenance of a favorable image of The Management Groups ICA services in the Northeast region of the state. IRIS currently serves participants in the following Northeast counties: Lincoln, Langlade, Waupaca, Outagamie, Manitowoc, Calumet and Winnebago. This position is a work-from-home position. Overall Responsibilities: Provide leadership to Northeast staff; develop successful strategic partnerships in the Northeast to ensure IRIS participant outcomes, program service excellence standards and quality management standards are being met; manage Local Area team performance to meet strategic objectives and service excellence standards; manage day-to-day operations of Local Area activities to ensure service excellence standards are being met; and, other responsibilities as assigned and available. Qualifications: h Bachelors degree in human services or related field or commensurate experience h Five years of applicable experience in direct-care, long-term care programs serving individuals with disabilities or the frail elderly, or with self-direction/self-determination programs h Three years of direct supervisory experience h Extensive experience in a leadership role that required extensive communication outreach and partnership development h Experience in a leadership role that had responsibility for implementing strategic goals and objectives h Strong leadership skills V ability to motivate, recognize and manage performance effectively h Experience in staff selection, training and performance management h Well-networked in long-term care community in Northeast Wisconsin h Strong knowledge of Medicaid services h Knowledge of process improvement tools and techniques h Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and listening, and the ability to adapt communication style to fit the situation and audience h Strong problem-solving skills h Strong interpersonal and customer service skills to build relationships with a diverse population and to manage a variety of situations and issues h Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills h Ability to be flexible, patient, creative and innovative in day-to-day operations and situations h Ability to operate in an open, honest and forthright manner in order to build and maintain relationships h Ability to take ownership of Area and corresponding programs and supervise for success h Ability to be self-motivated and self-directed, working with minimal supervision h Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as part of a team h Ability to work from home/remotely h Ability to embrace difficult conversation or confrontation and bring about appropriate resolution h Ability to operate in a professional manner as a team leader h Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality and abide by HIPAA standards h Ability to be proactive and perseverant h Ability to analyze data, draw appropriate conclusions and implement solutions h Ability to focus on multiple priorities simultaneously h Ability to be both persuasive and decisive, depending upon the situation h Ability to seek out opportunities to learn and grow, embrace challenges and learn from them h Ability to be flexible in the work environment and willingness and ability to adapt to changing organizational needs h Must be able to work from a home office which has sufficient internet access and cell phone coverage h Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation, maintain adequate auto insurance for job-related travel, and ability to travel extensively in the Area and occasionally within Wisconsin and other states as necessary h Demonstrated computer and software skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database operation/maintenance skills To apply: Send a cover letter, resume and list of references to: The Management Group Human Resources V R-AL4 1 South Pinckney St., Suite 320 Madison, WI 53703 or e-mail: human.resources@tmg-wis.com Equal Opportunity Employer It is the policy of The Management Group to provide reasonable accommodations to qualified individuals with a disability who are applicants for employment or employees.
