We are seeking qualified applicants for a 9 month tenure-track Assistant Professor of Social Work position for its CSWE-accredited BSW program. The faculty member teaches a variety of social work courses, largely involving Policy and Macro Practice Ėtypes of classes, though they could also teach other courses, including Interviewing and Service Learning (which includes volunteer work in an agency), and they have opportunities to teach some elective courses in areas of practice of particular interest to them. Additional responsibilities include student academic advising; engaging in university, department and community committees and other kinds of service; and conducting research and scholarship activities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: PhD in Social Work or related field and two years post-MSW social work practice experience; ABD will be considered if PhD will be completed within 12 months of beginning employment at TAMUCT.
TERM: 9 months/Tenure Track
