|More about the job:||Casa Pacifica’s Wraparound Program is seeking a qualified Mental Health Clinical Supervisor for Santa Barbara County. Successful candidate will work out of the Santa Barbara office site but will travel throughout Santa Barbara County according to Program needs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
◾Maintains clinical oversight of Wraparound program.
◾Attends required Wraparound Implementation meetings (WIT), treatment team meetings, home visits.
◾Provides supervision and support of individual Wraparound staff (includes interns and paraprofessionals) in a group setting and individually.
◾Trains staff on clinical topics such as documentation procedures, family dynamics, case conceptualization, mandated reporting duties, crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions and need based assessments.
◾Participates in staff evaluations and the interviewing/hiring process in conjunction with the Wraparound Program Manager.
◾Helps prepare, track and review client plans of care/safety plans and signs all Wraparound staff progress notes, providing feedback as necessary. Ensures documentation is completed in a timely manner.
◾Completes clinical supervisory documentation and progress notes in a timely manner consistent with deadlines for other staff.
◾Conducts quarterly and discharge chart reviews providing follow through on ensuring the appropriate documentation are in the charts.
◾Participates in quarterly and annual EPSDT audits.
◾Able to complete and train staff in mental health assessments, including ICD-10 diagnoses.
◾Provide on call support to staff including evenings and some weekends.
◾Responsible for assessing referrals to the Wraparound program on an as need basis. May also provide in home services as part of in vivo training and supervision model.
◾May provide client coverage as indicated by program needs.
◾Attends and participates in appropriate staff training programs; attends outside training events and conferences as requested.
◾Oversees all staff and adheres to the legal and ethical requirements of the mental health profession as outlined in the code of ethics and as deemed necessary by the agency.
Monday through Friday 8-5pm or 9-6pm (flexible) with on-call availability.
CA licensed/licensed eligible Clinician with a minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred. 5-7 years minimum experience working with severely emotionally disturbed adolescents doing family assessments and treatment, and behavior management preferred. Culturally sensitive and able to work with a multidisciplinary team. Ability to effectively supervise and motivate others to perform. Ability to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Bilingual preferred.
