|More about the job:||The Children’s Center of Wayne County is seeking a Coordinator of Supports Coordinators in our Developmental Disability Services Program.
This position will be responsible for some of the following:
•Provide leadership to DD and ABA Support Coordination Programs.
•Provide administrative and programmatic supervision to assigned staff.
•Monitor, track, and manage staff to address key performance indicators.
•Facilitate regular individual, group supervision with assigned staff.
•Promote positive team morale and performance.
•Maintain a clinical caseload (10-20 cases depending on the number of supervisees).
•Collaborate with ASD Clinical Coordinator and other agency Coordinators/Managers.
•Work with assigned staff in developing an annual work plan.
•Develop and follow a Performance Goals and Expectations (PGE) evaluation plan in conjunction with the immediate supervisor.
•Assist staff with preparing for all audits, accreditations or other reporting entities.
•Work with supervisors and other management staff to identify solutions to bottlenecks.
•Maintain a flexible schedule in order to appropriately deliver services to meet the clients’ needs.
•Attend all required training to enhance skills and meet Agency guidelines and as required by the State of MI, COA, and other agencies governing the operation of the Agency.
•Develop Performance Goals and Expectations with immediate supervisor annually.
•Participate in required supervision, agency meetings and other specialized meetings based upon this position.
•Collaborate and maintain professional standards at all times while conducting agency business.
•Support the values of the family, The Children’s Center Mission and the commitment to the ongoing safety and family stability.
•Perform other related duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
To qualify for this position you will need:
•Master's degree in social work, professional counseling or psychology required.
•Professional License required for the coordinating degree and maintain license throughout employment.
•Full License Required.
•Meet and maintain eligibility criteria for a Child Mental Health Professional as outlined in the MDCH Qualifications Guidelines.
•Minimum 1 year experience working with children with autism.
•Minimum 1 year prior supervisory experience.
•Must provide clearance that there is no record and/or convictions as a perpetrator of child abuse/and or neglect on the State of MI Child Abuse/Neglect Central Registry.
•Ability to demonstrate basic computer skills related to windows navigation, Microsoft Office and general office equipment.
•If position requires driving, must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, automobile insurance and a clear driving record.
•Ability to work effectively both independently and with an interdisciplinary team.
•Ability to effectively manage time, information, and meet deadlines.
